This was a truly fun and creative project dreamt up by Eve for the good people at BAM. We stuck rather closely to her original vision, but had to decide on practical camera angles and shots in order to tell the best story. The animation tells a compelling story of one Henry Shoemaker whose voting actions expanded the United States. Brooklyn. They wanted a minimilistic look that highlighted their unique fascades. The animation will be played on two HD monitors in the foyer of the Fischer Building. For the new Work Sight campaign, they tasked me with turning their complex CAD data into a representation of the whole model built out of binary 1s and 0s. R&D ran simultaneously with producing renders for their print campaign. The animation ended up being an additional challenge because the integration required a transition from the live action plates. Since we had no camera data or tracking markers a successful track could not be obtained. I consequently hand tracked the 45 frames leading up to the full take over.
